Every
cloud has a silver lining. Jim has been decrying
the state of the spa industry for years now and rather than improving
we see quite the opposite happening. As spa sales
go down, so does the already questionable quality of the products.
If you have an older spa with a good shell, it is probably going to
outlast the newer, lower quality, spas from most companies. Read
articles (links). We
are now getting calls and emails all daily for
service and advice from customers who unwittingly fell for the
sales pitches and are now needing help with their spa. While
we are still offering Haven spas, Haven Solar hot tubs and spas,
customized to meet Jim’s high
standards, we have expanded our service department and will now offer
our
services for all spa brands across the country. We already
travel to deliver spas, so we can come to your area and upgrade your
spa or give and estimate for repairs or tell you if it is worth fixing.
We also have representitives in several parts of the country. This
service will include not only repair, but upgrading to higher
efficiency and safely, adding DAIT for energy conservation, and more. Better to improve
on something than to just add it to the
landfill. It’s spa recycling. These repairs
and upgrades will prevent the continual repeat of the same equipment
failure many of you are now experiencing. If you
have a product that is not working correctly, has
screwed up plumbing and poor water quality and is constantly breaking
down, or you have to put in large quantities of chemicals to keep it
clean (and destroying the plastics) you need to contact us to
avoid wasting your
money. Many spas can be turned into really energy
efficient and usable products, by expert
refurbishing. A weak spa can have real therapy, better equipment
and better plumbing for a lot less than you realize. We can
install a gas heater or do solar electric spa on any spa for a
fee. If you are "off the grid" but still want a hot tub, call us, email us. We are the

work better for you, instead of wishing you had better therapy, contact

Some of the things we are offering are the
following;
1/ Fix the filter problems
on tiny circ pump spas.
2/ Remove the foam insulation and install much more thermally efficient
insulation to poorly designed full foam spas.
3/ Upgrade existing spas and all Haven Models with DAIT. and or solar heating and maintaining.
4/ Add DAIT insulation or and solar heating and filtering, to your
existing spa, so you can use it and not
"own the power company" each month..
5/ Replace cheap junk, unsafe plasitic control boxes and equipment and
put in safer UL and ETL listed
equipment and better quality
that lasts much longer.
6/ Install a better insulation system in Costco and other mass merchant
spas. According to energy usage reports by owners of these spas,
our improvements can probably pay for itself within a year or two in
cold climates.
7/ Do it yourself advice and planning. If you have mechanical
skills we can help you (for a reasonable fee) to evaluate your spa for
upgrades and give advice as well as offer discounts for parts.
8/ Evaluate your spa installation for correct structure. Add
reinforcing structure to your spa to improve shell integrity.
9/ Build a gazebo or other building to complement your spa.
10/ Add mechanical and electrical freeze protection.
11/ Remove diverter valves and replumb for better water flow and power
to the jets.
12/ Add strength to cheap spa cabinets.
13/ Do fiberglass and surface repair, if the spa warrants it.
14/ Install a DAIT wooden tub insulation to an existing wood tub.
